The site has been promoted through the local plan as a scheme in outline of circa 200 units which was robustly refused at Committee. The ensuing appeal was presented to the Inspector and the merits of the scheme were put forward and the Inspector has finally approved this proposal.

 

 

The site is very sustainable as it's within a 10 minute level walk to a mainline station with a journey to Paddington taking 30 minutes and is also close to all the facilities in Wickford. Detailed planning application is being prepared.
