We successfully negotiated and sold, on behalf of the owners, part of this site to Antler Homes. The owners of the remainder of the site (which we named `the Surgery Site`) agreed to extend the scheme with Antler Homes to incorporate two further brand new homes.

We successfully negotiated and sold, on behalf of the owners, part of this site to Antler Homes. The owners of the remainder of the site (which we named `the Surgery Site`) agreed to extend the scheme with Antler Homes to incorporate two further brand new homes.
The transaction was agreed in January 2007, with a projected completion date of April. The planning application went through without great difficulty, but there was a bitter pill to swallow - the Title showed a road improvement line in favour of WSCC (West Sussex County Council). The Surgery Site owners had used an access across this ground for many years and to resolve the defective title, the effective medicine to solve the problem turned out to be a Restrictive Covenant Indemnity (RCI) policy. The operation was successful with the transaction finally being restored to "full health" in August 2007.
`All`s well that end`s well`
Whilst Land & Brand New Homes continued their "health survey" of the site, Antler Homes were able to locate their marketing suite on this ground until a show home was ready to receive prospective home-buyers for viewing purposes. Purchasers now have the benefit of two road-front brand new homes in the delightful village of Fontwell, West Sussex, close to the race course of the same name and nearby Chichester.
