A Brief Encounter with ... Andrew VaughanQ. What motivates you?
A. My children and my family.
Q. How do you motivate your staff?
A. I expect my staff to be as motivated as me, with regard to their own outlook and aspirations. I also expect a solid work ethic of expecting a day's pay for a day's work. For staff that go the little extra, I think it's important to recognise that, through extra bonus payments.
Q. What was your first job?
A. I worked in a sandwich factory - supplying British Airways.
Q. Which business man or woman do you most admire?
A. Sir Alan Sugar.
Q. What is your favorite holiday destination and why?
A. The Caribbean islands for their beaches, sunshine, clean seas, water sports, friendly people and food.

A. Golf mainly - used to do a lot of sailing and windsurfing. I am a 1st Dan in Shotokan Karate and know how to make an English long bow and arrows. I also enjoy cooking new recipes.

A. `Work to live` is my motto - but it always seems to be work with three kids.

A. There are plenty, the main ones are: locally based service with a local response, sought after finance options and all processes under one roof (no sub-contracting of associated services).
Q. Where do you feel your company is placed in the current market?
A. Habitus are 'poised' to deliver. It's very exciting times - Habitus offer a unique local product, that no other provider can really match.
